Renewing Library Materials:

Patrons may renew items owned by the Lincoln Township Public Library twice, in person or over the telephone, unless another patron has placed an item on hold. (Items which are on hold cannot be renewed.)

Call the library at 429-9575 when the library is open if you wish to renew items over the phone.

Patrons may renew their books via Our Catalog at any time, whether the library is open or closed-- click on Our Catalog then on "My Record" at the right of the screen. This requires your name and the barcode numbers on the back of your card.

We do not allow renewal by email.

Items borrowed from other libraries via the Interlibrary Loan Department are not always renewable. If you wish to renew an ILL book, please contact a member of the ILL department, as the staff at the circulation desk will not be able to renew it for you.

Overdue fines:

Fines are 10 cents per day.

There is no longer a grace period for any of our overdue items. Fines will begin to accrue immediately when all items become overdue.

Lost and damaged books:
The responsible borrower shall pay for replacing lost items or those damaged beyond repair at the replacement cost determined by the library, plus a $8 service charge. If an item can be repaired, the cost of re-binding, repairing or a devaluation fine will be charged.
