Reader's Services
Librarians at the the Information Desk can connect you with the right book, whether you need help finding the next book in a series, a new author, or a book like the one you've just read. If we can't find what you are looking for in the library, we will help you borrow it from another Michigan library. For more information on reader's services visit the Readers & Writers Page.
Research & Reference
To assist you in your information searchs the Reference and Research Page lists online databases and subject guides selected by reference librarians. If you need personal assistance, call the library at 429-9575 and ask for the Information Desk.
Programs
The library offers several programs for adults including free monthly concerts March through November, two monthly book clubs, and a summer reading program. Special programs that appeal to a variety of interests such as, travel, crafts, hunting, photography, or job hunting are offered throughout the year. Computers & Technology
The library offers free public access to the internet including wireless capabilities. Present ID or your library card at the Information Desk to sign-up.
Microsoft Office Suite 2000 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher) is available on the public access workstations. Printing and scanning are also available.
Ask at the circulation desk to send or receive a fax. An incoming and/or outgoing fee is charged per page. The library’s fax number is (269) 429-3500.
Black and white photocopying is available at 10 cents a page.
A typewriter, overhead projector, floor magnifier and microfilm/microfiche machine are also available for patron use.
Meeting Space
The library offers free meeting space to community groups for meetings that serve an educational, civic or cultural purpose. Space is a available on a first come, first served basis with library programs taking precedence. Information on how to reserve a meeting space is available at the Circulation Desk or by calling the library at 429-9575.
