New Event & Room Management Software Coming Next Week!
Next week, expect some exciting changes to the event calendar and room management system as LTPL will be upgrading to a new software. The new system offers a better mobile-friendly environment for room bookings and event registrations, as well as a wide variety of event filtering options and automated notifications. Not only does the software offer a better tool for engaging the community in library programs but provides a streamlined workflow for our staff, so they have more time to spend helping you!
With the upgrade, we made a few changes to our Meeting Room policy that will assist with making the process for booking rooms easier. Please read through the updated policy before booking your next room.
Key changes to note:
- A library card will be required at registration to allow prefilling of the form and automate the approval process.
- Patrons can book rooms up to 24-hours in advance without staff assistance.
- Equipment and room capacity are clearly visible in the software for each room which aids in appropriate room selection.
- Patrons are required to check in and out at the front desk for bookings. This added process ensures the rooms are cleaned and reset to their original state.
