Who Can Volunteer?
Anyone who is 18 years old and older is welcome to volunteer. Interest in libraries and books, a concern for our community, or a passion for helping others will help you accomplish the assigned activities. We welcome volunteers with a variety of different skills, interests, and abilities.
Do you want to volunteer, but you’re not 18 years old? Join our Teen Advisory Board.
What Can a Volunteer Do?
Since our volunteers come from different backgrounds and have different skills and experiences, there are a variety of volunteer opportunities. Volunteers can assist librarians by cleaning toys, prepping materials for displays, cleaning shelves, organizing library materials to return them to the shelves, use a skill for a program, -or help raise money for and awareness of library services as a member of a Friends Group. Volunteer tasks may vary throughout the year.
