Resident

All residents or property/business owners of Lincoln Charter Township, Baroda Township, Royalton Township and the villages of Baroda and Stevensville are eligible for a Resident borrowing card. Stop by the desk with a valid government issued photo ID containing the current address. If the ID doesn’t contain the current address, an official piece of mail such as a bill or rental agreement must be shown. Cards are valid for three years.

Reciprocal Borrower

LTPL has reciprocal borrowing agreements with Maud Preston Memorial Library, Bridgman Public Library, Berrien Springs Public Library, Coloma Public Library, Sodus Township Library, and Benton Harbor Public Library (City Residents Only). Residents living in these areas who have a valid library card with their home libraries can obtain a reciprocal card with Lincoln Township. Stop by the desk with a valid government issued photo ID containing the current address. If the ID doesn’t contain the current address, an official piece of mail such as a bill or rental agreement must be shown. Interlibrary loans are not allowed on Reciprocal cards. Selected electronic resources may not be available for this card type. Cards are valid for one year.

School of Choice

A School of Choice card may be issued to any student currently attending schools in our library service areas. Proof of a current school id, report card, or registration is required. Interlibrary loans are not allowed on School of Choice cards. Cards are valid for one year.

Educator

An Educator card may be issued to individuals currently teaching at Lakeshore Public Schools or non-public school located in Baroda, Lincoln Charter, or Royalton Townships. Proof of a current photo id, report card, or teaching contract is required. Interlibrary loans are not allowed on Educator cards. Cards are valid for one year.

Out of District

People living outside the library’s service area may purchase a card for a fee. Proof of current address and valid photo ID is required. Cards are valid for the number of month’s purchased.

The cost of a library card per individual/household for non-residents is as follows:
  • Three month card is $35.00
  • Six month card is $65.00
  • One year card is $120.00
