It wouldn’t be summer without the LTPL Summer Adventure Program (formerly summer reading)! Special events and guests, exciting themes, prizes, and some of the most awesome teen volunteers in the nation make for eight weeks of pure reading fun and frenzy — it’s all FREE and it’s all FUN! With a reading program for every age and reading level, there’s something for everyone. Just register, read, and report.
2024 Summer Adventure Log
Our Summer Adventure Log is designed to keep every age engaged and active throughout the summer. Participants receive a colorful adventure logbook filled with various activities and challenges. These activities include reading goals, outdoor explorations, creative projects, and community engagement tasks. Each completed activity allows everyone to earn raffle tickets and prizes and goes until July 27. Stop by to get yours today!
End of Summer Adventure Bash
Saturday, August 3 from 2-4 pm
Join us for the ultimate celebration as we bid farewell to our Summer Adventure Program with our End-of-Summer Bash at the library! Indulge in the nostalgia of root beer floats served up by the Turn Out Tap truck, paired perfectly with scoops of creamy ice cream from YNot. But that’s not all – get ready for an afternoon packed with games, laughter, and plenty of surprises. Bring your friends and family for a sweet send-off to summer that you won’t want to miss!
