Lincoln Township Public Library is always looking for new and creative ways to provide our community with information that will “educate, engage, and empower” its members of all ages and backgrounds. As technology changes and the way that our patrons consume information evolves, we understand that serving our patrons doesn’t only mean providing books or even running onsite programs.
That’s a big reason why two of our staff members, Brian Johnston and Amy Nolan, have started our “Beyond the Stacks” podcast. There’s a good chance you’ve seen both of them helping patrons and running programs at the library. Now, you can also listen to them interview prominent community members and provide useful information with this twice a month program.
Brian and Amy have recorded several episodes so far and are enjoying this new way to reach our community members. “I feel like we both bring unique skills and perspectives to the program,” Brian says. “We work well together on this because of that, and also because we both care about the library and our community.”
