Important Notice: Temporary Library Closure for Renovation
Dear Community Members,
We are excited to announce that our library is undergoing an important renovation to better serve you! To ensure the project is completed efficiently and safely, the library will be temporarily closed starting September 15, 2024.
During this time, we will not be able to offer as many in-person services, but we’ve made arrangements to keep you connected to the resources you love. Visit us at our temporary location at Royalton Marketplace at 4059 Hollywood Road, St. Joseph, MI 49085. We will have a small collection of materials, internet, copying, and programming at this new smaller location. In addition to the temporary location, we will also offer our Book Dash service. This service will deliver books directly to your door, ensuring you can continue to enjoy reading while we improve our space. Additionally, our digital resources, including eBooks, audiobooks, and online databases, will remain fully accessible.
Other important information:
- Check out dates: All items checked out from Sept. 1 to Sept. 14 (except for New materials, Library of Things items, or kits) will have an extended due of January 2, 2025. Items can be returned earlier than Jan. 2 even though they have an extended date.
- Returns: Items can returned via our main library drive-thru drop box, at our temporary location drive-thru window or inside. All kits, luanch pads, or Library of Things items must be returned in person and inside the temporary location.
- Programming: programming will be at the temporary location and at various locations throughout Lincoln Charter, Royalton, and Baroda Townships.
We understand that the library is a vital part of our community, and we’re committed to making this transition as smooth as possible. We appreciate your patience and support as we work to create a better library experience for everyone.
