Dear Library Community,
As we welcome the winter season, I am thrilled to invite you back to our newly renovated library! The updates have transformed our space into a warm and inviting environment where you can explore, learn, and connect with others.
With fresh amenities and enhanced accessibility, our library is now better equipped to meet the needs of our community. Whether you’re seeking a cozy corner to read, looking to access our new Digital Lab, or eager to participate in our engaging programs, we encourage you to come and experience all we have to offer. 
We’re also excited to share that recent grants are allowing us to expand our services in meaningful ways. A heartfelt thank you to the Fredrick S. Upton Foundation for their Big Idea Grant, which has supported our Berrien Books for Babies initiative, putting books in the hands of our youngest community members born at Corewell Hospitals in St. Joseph and Niles, plus fostering early literacy by incorporating participation from all 13 Berrien County libraries.
Additionally, we are proud to have received the Libraries Transforming Communities Grant from the ALA, which will helped us enhance wayfinding throughout the library with new ADA-compliant signage, making navigation easier for all patrons.
Lastly, a Michigan Arts and Culture Council helped us to enhance the Lawrence Room and launch our new Digital Lab, providing access to cutting-edge technology for creative projects and learning opportunities.
