The Lincoln Township Library Foundation was thrilled to receive a $20,000 donation from Cook Nuclear Plant Foundation for the revitalization of the library. This continues the project that began with foundational improvements, then moved to enhancing interior spaces, and next focuses on the library’s outdoor amenities.
“We are grateful that the AEP – Cook Plant Foundation chose to support the Lincoln Township Public Library, which truly serves as a community center for residents in Lincoln, Royalton, and Baroda townships,” said Dr. Megan Yore, President and Treasurer of the Foundation and member of the LTPL Board of Trustees. “We have received overwhelming positive feedback from our patrons about the new experience, which was made possible by generous donors and the careful financial planning by Boards of Trustees both current and past.”
The Cook Plant Foundation awards charitable grants within communities served by the Cook Nuclear Plant, an operating subsidiary of American Electric Power (Nasdaq: AEP). The Cook Plant Foundation, along with the rest of the American Electric Power Foundation, is funded by AEP and its operating subsidiaries solely through shareholder dollars.
