Looking for something fun to do at home with your littles? Check out one of these fun easy at home crafts! Try out a Glitter Jar or No Sew Bunny with materials found in your home!

DIY Glitter Jar

Materials:

· Plastic bottle with lid (travel bottles work great)

· Baby oil

· Glitter (big glitter, little glitter, shaped glitter, etc.)

*I tried using beads and sequence but it was too heavy that it didn’t float well.

Directions:

1. Gather your supplies.

2. Fill your bottle with baby oil almost to the top.

(Leave some space at the top because when you add the glitter it will make the baby oil rise and you don’t want it to spill over.)

3. Add your glitters, whether it’s one type of glitter or a variety of different kinds, now is the time to add them.

4. Put the top back on the bottle and securely tighten it, making sure it doesn’t leak.

(You can glue the lid down for extra security if you would like.)

5. Shake your jar and watch the glitter fly.

Popsicle Stick Flower

Materials:

· Popsicle stick

· Cupcake liner

· Scissors

· Markers or crayons

· Glue (glue sticks work best)

Directions:

1. Gather your supplies.

2. Glue the back center of the cupcake liner to the top of the popsicle stick.

3. Using scissors, cut the crinkled wall part of the cupcake liner until you reach the bottom flat part of the liner. (These are your petals; the center of the cupcake liner is the center of your flower.)

4. Decorate your flower with your crayons or markers or anything else that your creative mind comes up with, the options are endless.

No Sew Sock Bunny

Materials:

· A sock

· Rice or other stuffing (beans, fluff, cotton, etc.)

· Rubber bands or hair ties

· Ribbon

· Marker to draw on the face

Directions:

1. Gather supplies.

2. Make sure your sock doesn’t have any holes.

3. Pour rice into your sock until it’s about ¾ full.

4. Take one rubber band and wrap it around the opening of the sock until it is closed and no rice can fall out.

5. Now it is time to form the head, do that by taking a rubber band and tying it around the sock where you want the bunny’s neck to be.

6. Using your last rubber band make a tail for your bunny by wrapping a rubber band around the tail end of the bunny’s body.

7. Using your ribbon make a bow for your bunny’s neck, same way you would tie a shoe.

8. To create the ears, you will take a pair of scissors and cut the opening of your sock in half. Don’t cut past the rubber band so that no rice falls out.

9. Using your markers, draw your bunnies eyes, nose, and mouth.
