Coming Summer 2025! Lincoln Township Public Library is making an exciting change—we’re upgrading to a brand-new catalog system, Simplicity! We’ve spent the past year working closely with Millonex to create an improved, user-friendly experience, and the time to launch is almost here. Stay tuned for more details!

What You Need to Know

🚨 ILS Migration Paused – New Date to Be Announced 🚨

To ensure a smoother transition, we are pausing our migration to the new catalog system and will announce a new date once key system features are fully in place.

Why the Delay?

🔹 Several important functions are still in development.
🔹 Vendor integrations need more time to be finalized.
🔹 We want to minimize disruptions for staff and patrons.

What to Expect

📅 New Migration Date: TBA – We will provide an updated timeline once we have a confirmed transition plan.

⚙️ During the Transition – The library will operate in both catalog systems, so checkout times may be slightly longer.

📖 Closure & Reopening – When the migration begins, our online catalog and account access will be temporarily unavailable. We will announce the closure date in advance.

What to Expect

As part of future transition, you’ll need to reverify your account information to ensure everything is up to date. This can be done online once Simplicity is live, or you can stop by the library, and we’ll update it for you.

With our new system, all notifications will be sent via email or text only—no more paper notices. It’s important to double-check that your contact information is accurate so you don’t miss any important updates about holds, due dates, or library news.

Database Users – You may experience a brief interruption in service. Once the update is complete, simply log in again to continue borrowing items.
